Your Right to Data Deletion
As a user of domaincracy.com, you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data from our platform. We are committed to handling your request in accordance with applicable data protection laws and our privacy policy.
What Data Can Be Deleted
Upon request, we can delete:
• Your account profile and personal information
• Photos and media you've uploaded
• Posts and comments you've made
• Messages you've sent (note: recipient copies will remain)
• Your activity history
Important Note:
Some information may be retained even after account deletion if:
• It's necessary for legitimate business purposes
• It's required by law
• It's part of aggregated data that doesn't identify you
• It's needed to prevent fraud or future abuse
• It appears in other alumni's content where you were tagged or mentioned
How to Request Data Deletion
Option 1: Through Your Account (Recommended)
1. Log into your domaincracy.com account
2. Go to Settings → Privacy
3. Click on "Delete My Account and Data"
4. Follow the confirmation steps
Option 2: Via Email
1. Send an email to
[email protected]
2. Subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
3. Include:
• Your full name
• Email address and / or phone number associated with your account
• Brief reason for deletion (optional)
Verification Process
To protect your privacy and ensure security, we will verify your identity before processing the deletion request. This may include:
• Confirming your email address
• Asking security questions
• Requesting additional proof of identity if necessary
Processing Timeline
After receiving your verified request:
• Initial Response: Within 2 business days
• Verification Process: 1-3 business days
• Data Deletion: Up to 30 days
• Final Confirmation: Once deletion is complete
Before Requesting Deletion
Consider taking these steps before requesting account deletion:
• Download a copy of your data (Settings → Privacy → Download My Data)
• Inform your connected alumni contacts if needed
• Save any important messages or content you want to keep
• Remove tags of yourself from others' content (optional)
After Deletion
Once your data is deleted:
• Your account will be permanently deactivated
• You won't be able to recover any of your content
• Your profile will no longer be visible to other alumni
• You'll need to create a new account if you wish to rejoin the platform
